Christmas!!!
Nothing else matter to our kids Christmas morning besides this:

And in a close second:
Christmas morning. We were deciding upon Daisy, Lily or Licious...
Introducing...
2 new members of the family...
Goldilicious. AKA "Licious"
Chris had to go wake up the kids this morning at 7am. They didn't want to sing their songs sense we were already up....but that was the whole plan so we made them anyway. Can you tell how excited they were? Taylor stared at the dog for a while and didn't realize until it was real until it moved. We have already enjoyed her so much and she has such a wonderful, easy temperament.

Holli surprised me and picked me up on my bday. We went to Starbucks for some peppermint hot chocolate then to the Bon to get my make-up done. We all know I could use the help!

Skiing
We finally took Taylor and Ethan skiing for the first time! We were shocked how quickly they got use to it. It took Taylor one trip down the bunny hill, and Ethan about 3 or 4 times. We had the best time and can't wait to go again!
McKenzie, Taylor and Ethan ready to conquer the slopes:

Ethan on the platter pull:
It was so hot when we first got there....or maybe I was just working up a sweat getting the kids all fitted up and buckled and situated. But it quickly turned VERY cold!
Chris, McKenzie, Taylor and Ethan. Their first GREEN run! Ethan started to drift away:
Wait, Ethan!
The girls warming up their toes during lunch:
They really enjoyed going on the lift. Getting off the lift is always a sight to see!
This is after about 1/2 an hour to an hour on the bunny hill:

Thanksgiving
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. It was great to have Chris' parents here with us again. It was a small and simple meal, but we always enjoy time with family.
Bella, Emmy and Alissa:
Myanna, Taylor and Ethan:
Can you tell how much Chris is enjoying his food?
And of course Thanksgiving just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without loads of games!

Turkey Trot
We (along with every other person in the Tri-Cities) started off our Thanksgiving but stocking Sarah Palin at the Turkey Trot. Taylor and I were about 5 feet away from her but Chris had the camera....darn him!
I opted out of the 5k and went with the family on the one mile run. Ethan and Taylor finished first at 10 minutes. Emma and I came in at 13 minutes. I was so proud of her - she ran the entire way! We were glad Chris finished the race being stuck with Kaden. The kid kept wanting to run off and play.
Afterward, we waited around to capture a picture of Sarah Palin crossing the finish line. Little did we know that she skipped out early to avoid all of us crazy people. Regardless, we had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year.
