Blog Freeze

I have absolutely nothing to blog about. I have nothing intelligent to say (do I ever?) and nothing new and/or exciting is going on. I could think of some "deep thought" for Melanie, but that would take too much brain power. Well, hum, what about this - the last 2 gatherings we've had at our house someone has clogged our toilet. I thought that was interesting. Or what about this - I have been working out 5-6 times a week for 3 months now and haven't lost an ounce. That's not very interesting but it really ticks me off! Oh no, no, I have a good one. Emma's preschool has been cancelled the last 2 1/2 weeks and she's ready to pull her hair out. She tells me nothing is better in this world than preschool! Here is what my kids are doing right now :

Ethan is very excited to do his homework (I wish):

More homework: Always wanting something to eat:
Playing pollies! Ahh, isn't the life of a 4 year old great?!
Ok, now that I'm blogging, I'm able to think better. Here is a conversation I had with Emma a couple days ago. We drove by Daddy's office and Kaden starts to scream because he wants to go see him.
Emma - Why can't we go see Daddy?
Mom - Because he's not there right now.
Emma - Where is he?
Mom - I don't know, but I called a little while ago and they said he wasn't there (he was checking a job somewhere).
Emma - I bet he's in Africa.

Her latest thing is to say she can't wait to be a mom!
Mom - Let's go make your bed
Emma - I can't wait until I'm a mom! Then I won't have to do it!
Mom - Time to brush your teeth.
Emma - I can't wait to be a mom! UGH.
Mom- Buckle your seat belt.
Emma - I can't wait to be a mom!
You get the picture. Like us moms don't have to do those things! Or the other day she said, "Mom, when I'm a mom will you teach me how to drive a car?" I told her I would teach her when she was 16 and it would be so much fun and she said, "That's OK. It'll be better when I'm a mom."

Ok, one more. We took her friend, Luke home after preschool the other day. His dad (he's a police officer) was home from work to eat lunch. She said, "Silly Brycie, it's not Halloween!"
Anyway, she's a crackup!

The Office

Yes! The Office is back! I absolutely LOVE this show!
Arguably the best sitcom EVER! I took this quiz and I'm most like:
JIM HALPERT! Which, I guess, is a good match....here's another quiz (thanks, Kelly) just for fun.

Happy Birthday, Holli!

Happy 31st Birthday to my best and coolest friend, Holli! LOVE YOU!!! Thanks for all the good times and many to come...

Spring Break in Seattle

We finally took the family up to Seattle! It's pathetic we've been here 2 1/2 years and haven't been there until now. We loved it! We stayed right by Lake Union in a town house and invited some of our friends to come along! It only rained the first day we were there - miracles do happen! I must say our favorite was the Zoo - so many fun things to do there! My camera died halfway through the trip - so I'll have to post more once I get them from our friends...

Woodland Park Zoo...

Crazy kids...
The boys bonding with a gorilla...
3D Imax show at the Pacific Science Center...
Butterfly exhibit at the Pacific Science Center - kids LOVED this! And the butterflies loved Jennifer!
Playing in the water at the Pacific Science Center...
More pictures of the Aquarium, Harbor Cruise and Flight Museum to come...
