Happy Halloween
The Mummy, Nerdy Brother, Tiger and Witch:
Trunk or Treating is the best thing in the world! I have met some crazy people that actually like door-to-door trick-or-treating better. I just don't get it. They claim that trick-or-treating isn't about the candy. Really?
We trunked it this year and love it!
But I guess we did go trick-or-treating to Nanna and Pappa's house. Doesn't that count?
Happy Halloween, everyone!
We trunked it this year and love it!
Spooky Recital
To start our Halloween off right, the kids had another piano recital. One of these days I'm not going to make them do it. We got conned in to it this time because Ethan was in a trio with 2 of his friends...dang them! This organ they play on is not my favorite...it sounds much better on the piano.

Another Year...
7 years ago I never thought I'd be to this point. I know it's a cliche, but time really does help heal wounds. I can now be thankful for my part and role in Adilyn's mission. How thankful I am that I get to teach my children about eternity and what we have to look forward to. Happy Birthday, Adilyn! Your family loves you!

Party Girl
This is how Emma felt about her 6th birthday party:
She had 8 of her favorite friends over:
Emma wanted these 3 munchkins: (McKenzie, Taylor and Demi)
to paint faces:
and paint nails:
Then they ate the pizzas they made:
Emma opened her presents:
And enjoyed cupcakes with waaay too much frosting:
And of course, it ended all too soon! We love you, Emmy and hope you felt loved on your special day!

Creations
The kids did great this year with their pumpkin carving. Taylor and Ethan did theirs all themselves.....love that!!! I carved Kaden's and Emma helped Chris with hers.
Emma loves the guts!
Ethan getting to work:
Taylor very serious about her work:
I made him sit there for 2 seconds to take a picture....he really didn't want anything to do with it until it was finished:

Emma loves the guts!

Vegas
We had so much fun in Vegas this year. With good company, good weather and a good book, how could you not?
We love going to the Bellagio and seeing all their fall decorations:

I loved Blue Man Group. Chris enjoyed it but didn't like all the slow parts with them staring at each other.

Of course the food is always a highlight!
We attempted to swim, but Chris and I read our books instead. Yes, I think Holli was annoyed, but it was a good one!!!
We were so excited to get M&Ms for the kids from the M&M factory...that is until we found out they were $100/lb. Maybe a bag from the gas station and a picture would suffice?
Chris' highlight was going to the BYU vs UNLV football game.

We even went to the temple. I forgot how big these "normal" temples are.
I think everyone's highlight hiking in Red Rock Canyon. It reminded us of Moab and almost brought Chris to tears....almost.

Pumpkin Decisions
He didn't have a hard time finding the "perfect" one. He went right to it, picked it up and said, "Let's go, mom"...then wondered what was taking everyone so long.
